Job title: Senior Engineer
Job Location: 1830 Bering Drive, San Jose, CA 95112
Job duties: The Senior Engineer position will design integrated circuits for optical communication. High speed RF, mmW design expertise with broadband circuits such as TIAs, Drivers and Clock and Data Recovery ICs. Design responsibilities include circuit simulation, verification, on-chip passive devices RF modelling, top-level verification, layout supervision, layout parastics extraction, lab product validation and test engineering support.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related field plus 3 years of experience in IC design or related. Requires skills and experience in the following: Bicmos technologies; IC design tools such as cadence spectre, emx, virtuoso explorer and assembler; IC layout tools such as virtuoso, PVS, calibre, Quantus QRC, EMIR; System simulation tools such as matlab or python; Hands on experience and working knowledge of optical communication, channel equalization, PAM4; and Lab measurement equipment such as BER testers, pattern generators, oscilloscopes, VNAs.
