We collaborate with our clients and chefs to create the ideal menu and provide all of the service equipment, coordinate rentals, transport the food, and then we staff the perfect team for our client’s event.
Job Overview
Cohost Event Staff are essential to provide our clients with an amazing event experience by ensuring the event runs smoothly This is a seasonal position and perfect for anyone needing flexible, supplemental work. We are looking for servers, bartenders, and bussers.
Duties and responsibilities
- Bartends/serves food/busses tables
- Sets up for events (puts out tables, beverages, equipment, food)
- Maintains cleanliness throughout event
- Assists in cleaning up after event (throws out trash, repacks totes, cleans chafers)
- Assists in unloading van or trucks and loading up at end of event
Qualifications
- Must love food
- High school education or equivalent
- Must be willing to obtain Food Handlers certification
- Must be willing to obtain TABC certification
- Professional appearance and manner
- Must be passionate about serving others
- Dependable and reliable
- Have a reliable form of transportation
- Experience in serving/bartending/catering required
Working conditions
- Most shifts are Friday-Sunday. Shifts are available as early as 9am and evening shifts can end as late as midnight. There is also an opportunity for weekday work as well.
- We are also looking for seasonal contractors.
Physical requirements
- This position requires bending, lifting and carrying equipment. Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds.
Compensation
- Training at $15 an hour (approximately 4 shifts). After training pay depends on experience plus opportunity for tips and growth potential.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
