Mission
We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team at Reeves. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide support for various accounting functions. This position offers a learning opportunity to gain experience in regional accounting functions, with the potential for promotion to a higher-level role within those regions.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Regional accounting team in various accounting functions
- Calculate and process information and transactions weekly using multiple systems.
- Assign cost codes to different transactions.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Provide analysis to management team members to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience in accurate reconciliation.
- Proficiency in using the entire Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and OneNote.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to various systems.
- Willingness to relocate for future advancement opportunities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Proficient use of a computer, including typing and data entry.
