Position Overview
Midland Asphalt Materials Inc., a subsidiary of Barrett Industries Corporation, provides advanced pavement preservation solutions for our customers’ needs. We are currently looking for an experienced Distributor Operator in Tonawanda, NY for our 2022 operating season!
Main Responsibilities
- Operate an asphalt distributor and apply specialized emulsions to roads
- Coordinate with Foreman for application rate and special instructions
- Understand the different emulsions and how to use each one safely and effectively
- Keep track of time and quantities of each project and communicate that to dispatch office
- Perform related duties such as shovel and rake work and changing spray nozzles
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class B CDL with Airbrakes and Tanker Endorsements and good driving record
- Class A CDL, Hazmat Endorsement preferred
- Must be an experienced truck driver
- Must adhere to all DOT and Midland safety regulations
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds
