Perform a Thorough Intake
- Work with the hiring manager to develop a complete job description.
- Work with the Director of Human Resources to determine budget/target compensation for the position.
- Work with hiring manager and other stakeholders to identify key screening criteria, value proposition to candidates, and interview process.
- Develop and continuously refine sourcing strategy and develop budget proposals annually to support that strategy.
- Develop compelling job advertisements that speak to the position, the organization and the value proposition and place ads.
- Post job advertisements.
- Search the resumes generated by advertisements for top candidates.
- Seek internal candidates and referrals.
- Use additional tools and websites to source candidates.
- Perform initial interviews of candidates by phone, by video or in person.
- Facilitate interviews with other interviewers, following up after each interview to debrief with the interviewers and assess the viability of the candidates.
- Forward Cold Jet’s goal of promoting from within when appropriate.
- Ensure that the process is in keeping with Cold Jet’s Equal Opportunity policy.
- Follow up with candidates on a timely basis to let them know the status of their candidacy for the position for which they have interviewed.
- Maintain candidate data in HRIS system.
- Facilitate any skills tests or other assessments.
- Check references.
- Complete a Salary Authorization form and obtain required signatures for final approval to hire.
- Present offer to selected candidate.
- Facilitate background check.
- Transition candidate contact to HR Generalist for onboarding.
- Produce weekly reports on recruiting activity, track/report recruiting metrics monthly and complete quarterly analysis on recruitment results.
- Ensure a positive experience for all candidates, both internal and external.
- Act as backup to the Director of Human Resources, HR Generalist, and Senior VP of Human Resources as needed.
- Support HR department initiatives and projects as assigned.
- Contribute to the overall success of the team.
Position Requirements
- Minimum high school equivalent and 5 years of recruiting experience or college degree and 2 years of recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting in the manufacturing industry preferred. Experience with sales and marketing recruitment preferred.
Skill Competencies
- Familiar with LinkedIn recruiter tools
- Familiar with social media sourcing
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices
- Adapts well to global cultures
- Excellent communication skills. Bilingual or multilingual communication skills a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate-level skills with MS Office suite
