Painting Helper:

Job Description:

- Assist painters in prepping surfaces, such as cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes.

- Set up and dismantle ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment.

- Protect surrounding areas and furniture with drop cloths or plastic coverings.

- Mix paint, fill paint trays, and clean brushes and other painting tools.

- Apply paint to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray guns under the supervision of a painter or lead painter.

- Assist with general cleanup and maintenance of painting equipment and work area.

Requirements:

- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.

- Basic knowledge of painting techniques and tools.

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Types: Part-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Nights as needed
• Rotating weekends
