About the Role:

As a Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the complexities of energy system decarbonization and infrastructure transformation. You will manage high-stakes projects, provide strategic insights, and support clients in making informed, fact-based decisions driven by rigorous analysis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about shaping the future of energy and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage consulting projects related to energy infrastructure, ensuring effective execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans that address the challenges of energy system decarbonization and capital reallocation.
  • Provide expert advice on utility planning, procurement, and regulatory compliance to guide client decision-making.
  • Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm’s client base.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Stay informed on trending topics such as data centres, mobility, and nuclear energy to offer cutting-edge solutions.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing business within the energy and utilities sector, with a strong focus on energy infrastructure and transition.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and delivering high-impact results.
  • Expertise in areas such as strategy & transformation, utility planning, M&A strategy, and sustainability.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a background in conducting in-depth research and analysis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Advanced degree in Energy Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in advising on regulatory matters, compliance, and expert witness support is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
