Collective Alternative (CA), a full-service marketing, public relations and advertising agency located in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking a Project Manager to serve as part of a dynamic, creative and collaborative team. Established in 2008, we specialize in creating comprehensive grassroots marketing strategies for small-to-medium-sized local businesses with a commitment to creating meaningful relationships and delivering valuable results. We serve a client base that spans a wide range of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, finance, education and more. Job Overview:

We’re growing! And we’re looking for a talented, driven and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a full-time sales assistant! As a Sales Assistant at Collective Alternative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the sales team to achieve our revenue targets and expand our client base. You will be responsible for assisting with various sales-related tasks and ensuring seamless coordination between the sales team and other departments within the agency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team in prospecting and lead generation activities through research, outreach, and follow-up.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and contracts for prospective clients.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments for the sales team, ensuring schedules are optimized for maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client communications, meetings, and progress updates.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to account management.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, including managing emails, scheduling appointments, and handling inquiries from clients.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in sales and marketing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
  • A passion for sales and marketing with a desire to learn and grow within the industry.
