Performs a variety of production/manufacturing operation activities.

Compensation:

  • $2,500 Sign on Bonus*

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and assemble parts.
  • Demonstrates proper use of simple hand and machine tools.
  • Accurately reads and follows procedures, routing and other work instructions.
  • Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
  • Ensures creation of parts meet customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Complies with applicable elements of quality systems.
  • Participates in cost reduction plans and continuous improvement plans/events as required.
  • Participate in audits.
  • Acquires applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
  • Maintains materials, equipment, and work area in clean and orderly condition.
  • Complies with all rules and regulations of United Technologies, including, but not limited to: Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, International Trade Compliance, and Human Resources.
  • Examines methods and results for conformance to standards and reinstruct as required.
  • Reports to lead or supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a HS diploma. In the absence of a diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
