What does a Billing Associate do?
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented individual with 3 years’ experience working in a billing role. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. The individual should work well in a team environment and be willing to help in other administrative areas as needed.
Your duties will include and are not limited to the following activities and tasks:
- Generate customer invoices in a heavily-excel-based process.
- Prepare backup documentation for raised invoices.
- Assist clients and managers with outstanding invoice inquiries.
- Maintain Accounts Receivable files.
- Assist in month-end close activities and financial analysis.
- Support other areas of accounting as backup.
- Complete other tasks as directed by management.

- Proven billing work experience of 3 years.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Passion for numbers and financial detail.
- Ability to communicate successfully with employees and clients at all levels of the organization.
- Must demonstrate the ability to be disciplined, self-motivated, self-managed and be able to multi-task.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and do what is necessary to ensure timely completion of accounting information.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting.
- Must maintain highly confidential information.
- Experience with of accounting software (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), multiple platforms.
