Database Marketing Manager
Coloplast has an exciting opportunity for a Database Marketing Manager on the Consumer Acquisition team.
This critical team is responsible for success of database programs development and implement, including database campaigns and database growth initiatives.
Responsibilities include managing budget, maintaining databases, using data analyses to optimize direct mail and email campaigns, and creating custom reports. This role will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and liaise with outside vendors.
To be successful as a database marketing manager, this role should have extensive experience in database marketing and with business intelligence tools. A top-notch candidate should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and team management skills.
The Database Marketing Manager is a true cross-functional role, working very closely with product marketing, Direct response advertisement team, Consumer Operations, Marketing Communications and Consumer Sales team, as well as executive leadership in Coloplast.
Major Areas of Accountability:
Maintaining and monitoring multiple databases.
Responsible for database campaign performances, including planning, forecasting, deployment, tracking and reporting.
Collaborate with and support DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) manager to design and deploy database campaigns; Ensure high conversion rate, and ROI (return on investment) on campaigns
Responsible for database health and growth, including developing and managing database marketing programs via segmentation and data enrichment strategies, drive database growth through consent and new name generating.
Monitoring and optimizing campaign efficiency including extracting data, performing analyses, and creating reports to optimize and segment campaigns
Work with external vendors to execute campaigns
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate database marketing initiatives and manage data integration.
Develop and apply the appropriate project management and tactics to the above-mentioned tasks and initiatives
Take the lead in providing regular performance updates to Sales and Operations Management and peers and report results and provide overall insights on database campaign performance to leadership
Liaising with vendors and internal resources for database-related matters, as required
Maintain a solid understanding of the market by monitoring the competitive market, identifying trends or changes that will impact business, and recommending actions and contingency plans to maximize opportunities for Coloplast database
Provide leadership, knowledge and experience, and reinforce known best practices
Other tasks as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor degree required
5 years of experience with managing databases and deploying campaigns via email platforms and direct mails, Eloqua experience is a plus
Healthcare or DME field is a plus
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
In-depth experience with database campaign (Direct mail and Email campaigns)
In-depth / thorough process and numerical skills with an analytical approach to marketing and an ability to identify and report on data trends
Ability to target, test and evaluate performance with the ability to develop new strategies to optimize database campaign effectiveness
Strong ability to quickly internalize the complexities of the business.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills
Exceptional project management and communication skills (written and verbal).
Confident in managing internal relationships and able to communicate with and influence others. Displays a resilient, personable, collaborative attitude.
Demonstrates conscientious attention to details, and takes initiative and ownership with moderate direction; “Can be done” attitude
Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
