Electro-Mechanical Technician Job Description

Colson Group Holdings LLC is seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team. This role will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all electrical equipment, as well as equipment installations within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining equipment consisting of PLC's, pneumatics, robotics, injection molding machines, and other industrial automation equipment.
• Ability to interpret schematics and drawings.
• Possess the ability to run and bend conduit as needed per local code.
• Ensures Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures are followed when working on equipment.
• Performs tasks according to safety standards, reports any and all safety issues immediately.
• Support company initiatives by maintaining adherence to organization standards and policies.
• Support the creation and sustainment of processes and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and supporting continuous improvement.
• Use Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques to enhance and improve productivity.
• Support the efforts of other departments through prompt responsiveness to requests and inquiries.

Requirements:

• Electrical Journeyman Card preferred with PLC experience. Experience in lieu of license or card will be considered.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing experience.

Skills:

• Strong cross functional communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word program.
