Responsibilities and Skills
- Assist with menu planning
- Monitor and record inventory, and if necessary, order new supplies
- Detailed oriented and strong organizational abilities
- Ensures FIFO food rotation system and proper labeling and dating of product
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet restaurant and kitchen standards
- Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment
- Time-management skills
- Supervises all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality/standards
- Ability to perform proactively to decrease waste and budgetary concerns
