What you need to know about the position:
- As an RN you are assigned to units based on your prior experience in caring for patients of similar acuity and needs.
- Our currents needs are - Cardiac Step Down Unit Night shift (7pm-7:30am) including
- Caring for patients on this unit could include knowledge of NSTEMI/STEMI, Post PCI with radial band removal, cardiac arrhythmias and gtts associated with it, heart failure and gtts associated with it, post TAVRs, Watchman, post cardiac devices, and ablations. Other patients include DKA w/insulin gtts, as well as some other general medical patients.
- Schedule requirements:
- Required to work at least 36 hours per week, scheduled in 12-hour shift
- Night shift (7pm-7:30am) and every other weekend
- Required for at least a 6-week commitment, extensions may be available
- Required to participate in weekend and holiday schedules
- Our Staffing Reserve RNs are paid $60 per hour while also being eligible for Overtime, applicable shift differentials and Holiday/Sunday premium pay.
- You are an employee of CRH but not eligible for benefits.
What is required for this position:
- Upon hire, you must have:
- Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Indiana License or a Multi-State Compact License as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- We are seeking at least 2 years of RN experience caring for similar patients.
This position requires frequent standing, walking, talking and listening and lifting or moving more than 50 lbs.
