Position Details

• Director is responsible for development/administration of Performance Improvement, Risk Management, and Staff Development activities throughout the hospital to ensure that all state, federal, TJC standards for care consistently met.
• Collects and analyzes data on hospital performance, incidents, and documentation to improve hospital performance and ensure provision of quality care.
• Works closely with all Department Director’s to recommend/provide required staff development and tailored programs based upon data analysis.
• Monitors, investigates, and as required, reports all hospital incidents.  

Qualifications

Education: 

• Master’s degree in a health related field preferred, or Bachelor’s degree in a health related field with equivalent in a psychiatric hospital. Bachelors Degree in Nursing is preferred. 

Experience: 

• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients preferred.

License: 

• If applicable, unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse, RN. 

Additional Requirements: 

• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
