The Manager, Event Marketing will be a key contributor in the marketing department and will primarily focus on event marketing for upcoming family shows and concerts at Wells Fargo Center. This position will also work cross-functionally and collaborate on projects for the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Wings and Spectacor Events and Entertainment.
The Manager, Event Marketing will be a key contributor in the marketing department and will primarily focus on event marketing for upcoming family shows and concerts at Wells Fargo Center. This position will also work cross-functionally and collaborate on projects for the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Wings and Spectacor Events and Entertainment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage advertising budgets for family shows and other arena events
- Collaborate with event promoters and in-house media buyer to place traditional advertising (TV, radio, OOH, etc.) and traffic all assets to media partners
- Lead planning, management, and execution of promotional plans, including local media and community partnerships
- Develop and manage influencer and third party partnership campaigns to promote all events at Wells Fargo Center
- Maintain and create media budgets, marketing settlement reconciliations, and detailed recap summaries for venue events
- Manage placement and scheduling of promotional elements for in-house advertising assets (digital screen rotations, billboard, ribbon boards, etc.)
- Coordinate grassroots efforts and trade partnerships for family shows, Flyers, Wings, Tinseltown, and other miscellaneous events
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years marketing experience preferred with increased responsibilities
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
- Strong work ethic
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and select holidays
