Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PMO Analyst to join Comcast's National Supply Chain organization. The PMO Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of projects within our organization. As a PMO Analyst, you will work with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and track project milestones and deliverables.
- Work with project managers and stakeholders to identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Prepare summary slides and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project documentation, including project charters, project plans, and status reports to ensure cohesion, progress, visibility, and accountability of internal & external partners.
- Represent the Supply Chain organization's interests with cross-functional teams and enterprise organizations.
- Ability to serve as a Business Analyst (BA) and/or a Project Manager (PM) on initiatives.
- Ability to effectively communicate project information both written and verbally with all project stakeholders.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, including IT and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with on all levels of a project including senior and executive level management.
- Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of project management methodologies, tools, and templates.
- Collaborate with other members of the PMO to continuously improve project management practices and processes.
- Provide training and support to project teams on project management tools and methodologies.
- Support Employee Professional Development Program to foster the growth of talent within the Supply Chain organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Communications, Business Administration, Project Management, or Computer Science.
- 2-3 years of experience in project management or related field.
- Ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences in both written and oral form.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn, and accept and provide feedback.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use good judgment to make recommendations and decisions.
- Comfortably handles risk and uncertainty.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (i.e., such as Smartsheets, SharePoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Demonstrated proficiency with metrics and/or data reporting and creating dashboards.
- Experience in the Supply Chain & Telecommunications field nice to have.
