Job Summary
The Prospect Activation Team is responsible for implementing the strategy and execution plan for marketing Xfinity's products and services to prospective customers. Our specific team is accountable for the customer audiences of university students, Pre-paid customers, multi-dwelling unit (MDU) residents, Movers, and other unique target audience segments. As part of the Prospect Activation team, this role will be responsible for supporting the strategic approach targeting the University segment, Pre-Paid products, Movers, and Multi-dwelling unit residents. This role will work across Headquarters teams and field teams to ensure Division and Regional needs are met to deliver a superior program with optimal connect/sales volume.
Job Description
Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Sourcing, and validating data and information from databases
- Support the 2023University strategy for off-campus and on-campus university marketing efforts, the Xfinity Pre-paid product, and multi-dwelling unit efforts.
- Regular communications with Divisions and Regions that directly result in the execution of the marketing strategies.
- Research, logistical management of vendors, budget management, and program analysis across all efforts.
- Support specific marketing tactic development involving media, events, and customer communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university that has a cooperative learning track
- Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months startingApril 3, 2023.
- Preferred Majors:Business,Marketing,DecisionScience,Analytics
- 3.2minimum cumulative GPA preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Comfortable Multi-tasking and good communication skills are ideal.
- Being able to organize meetings and ability to set an agenda and deliver action items is key.
- Creative thinker who is open to learning and sharing their ideas openly across larger groups/teams across the organization.
- An understanding of the University/Student segment is highly desirable.
- Strong interest in the telecommunications, cable, and media industries.
- Ability to work on a team
