Job Description
The Work Leader is responsible for providing operational support and guidance for production tasks. This position will provide advanced problem resolution and the ability to communicate and escalate significant production issues within an operational business unit; as well as oversee the daily workflow, to ensure all service levels and customer needs are satisfied. Successful incumbents possess integrity and trust, listening skills, problem solving skills, and are focused on the customer.
- Assists in resolving more complex production related issues within the business unit with the ability to escalate significant production issues to the appropriate leader in a timely manner.
- Ability to identify and recommend changes to operational procedures for efficiencies within the department and other related business units.
- Works independently with limited supervision while proactively resolving customer issues.
- May be required to participate in projects impacting business unit with ability to document procedural changes to department functions.
- Requires independent decision-making skills, the ability to write procedures, and recommend process improvements.
- Demonstrates proven multi-tasking skills and the ability to adapt to change while still meeting or exceeding department deadlines.
- Ensure all monthly and quarterly financial reporting is submitted and distributed timely and accurately to all stakeholders.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate up, down, or laterally.
- Strong balancing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
