Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR functions. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who is as comfortable with high-level strategic planning as they are with managing day-to-day administrative tasks. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in English/Spanish, reflecting our diverse workforce, and possesses a collaborative spirit that aligns with our company culture.
This role will manage the company's efforts in the areas of talent acquisition/recruiting, orientation and onboarding, training & development, career pathing, benefit plans procurement and administration, governmental compliance, employee relations, employee engagement, employee evaluation process, and employee records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Human Resources functions, including compliance, recruiting, employee engagement, and payroll administration.
- Develop and implement programs, policies, and procedures related to all human resources functions and objectives
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
- Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment process for both hourly and salaried positions, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement and retention.
- Lead the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll in accordance with legal requirements.
- Advise management on HR policies and practices, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Collaborate with senior management to understand the company’s goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Handle HR issues and grievances in a manner that is consistent with company policies and legal requirements.
- Develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
