Responsibilities
Responsible for cleaning processing assembly and distribution of supplies and equipment to multiple hospital departments. Maintains inventory control and supply ordering. Maintains the Central Service work environment and supplies within accepted practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Education or experience as a Central Service Technician and certification is required
- HSD/GED OR 2 years equivalent work experience.
- Certified Central Service Tech or Central Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech to include one of the following CRCST, CHL,
CSPDS, CSPDT or equivalent.
Special Skills:
Candidate will learn various instrumentation, inventory control practices, and utilization of an inventory software system.
Attention to detail is a must. Knowledge of medical terminology helpful. Must be able to work effectively with multiple departments. Must read, write and speak English.
