The Assistant Branch Manager ensures the operational excellence and integrity of the branch, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment for team members. The duties of an Assistant Branch Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring that the transaction center and member service areas are operating within established policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws
- Ensuring adequate safeguards and controls are in place to protect Commonwealth Credit Union funds, assets, and confidentiality of information
- Assuming branch responsibilities in the absence of the Branch Manager
- Assisting in establishing and monitoring goals and programs to meet overall credit union objectives
- Promoting an environment of cross-selling, problem-solving, and learning
- Promoting productivity and sound business practices by training and coaching staff in the features and benefits of credit union products and services
- Reporting any concerns or problems with the facility, or matters interfering with the safe operation of any area under their responsibility
- Demonstrating leadership skills in the area of staff development and motivation, accountability, sales performance coaching, business development, and administering employee reviews and one-to-one meetings
This is a non-NMLS Registered position; therefore, no detailed information will be provided to our members regarding home equity loans or mortgage loans.
SATURDAY HOURS ARE REQUIRED, WITH THE POTENTIAL OF ASSISTING AT OTHER BRANCH LOCATIONS.
