LCB Licensing Analyst 1 (Home Headquartered Lehigh County)

THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a highly motived and specialized candidate with investigative experience for the Bureau of Licensing, Licensing Investigations Division. The candidate selected will conduct regulatory reviews within an assigned geographic area to determine applicant compliance with the Liquor Code and related laws and regulations when applying for a new license, a license renewal, reconciliation of requested change to licensed status, or transfer of ownership of a licensed establishment.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

• Full-time employment, 40 hours per week.
• Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• This is a home-headquartered position, therefore you will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. Residency within Lehigh County is required, there is no telework option for individuals that live outside of these areas. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
• This position requires travel. Travel expenses will be paid.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

• An associate's degree; or
• Two years of technical inspection experience; or
• Two years of experience involving the review of financial documents to determine the origin of funds.
• Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within three months of graduating with a qualifying degree/credits.

• This particular position also requires you to reside in Lehigh County or relocate to this area with 60 calendar days of the start of employment.

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
