DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position is to analyze district performance, provide recommendations for improvements, ensure action plans are developed to achieve improvement, and serve as the District Quality Coordinator. The Management Analyst 1 assists with developing, maintaining, and monitoring performance measures for the district dashboard, DE scorecard, CMMT, and other key measurements. and analyzes the end of the year results and assists with preparing recommendations for focus areas for improvement in each unit.

An employee in this position assists with evaluating work processes in all areas (design, construction, maintenance, human resources, and fiscal) and identifies opportunities to improve and track progress of improvement plans and assists with developing assessments and executive summary on the district’s performance, beyond the standard measures, and identify tools that managers can use to improve and monitor operations. The employee conforms to the documentation requirements of Lean and ensures standard operating procedures are incorporated into District Memorandums.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time after successful completion of probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Montoursville.
  • This position is eligible for Alternate Work Schedule (AWS) after successful completion of probationary period.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience as an Administration and Management Trainee performing technical management analysis work; or one year of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
