Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. The Manager of Advancement Services is responsible for managing all the core data functions of the Office of Institutional Advancement. This position will be responsible for gift entry, timely acknowledgement letters, routine financial reporting, list pulling, prospect research, and supporting office operations. This position reports to the Director of Development and serves as the operational and data backbone of the fundraising office.

Minimum Qualifications:Knowledge of fundraising best practices related to data integrity and data systems. Proficiency in using current fundraising software programs, including donor and prospect databases. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of professionalism. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people and support the functions of a larger team. Demonstrated ability to communicate effective orally and in writing, with a variety of constituencies including community partners, students, faculty, administrators, and staff.
Preferred Qualifications:Coursework and/or specialized training in a related field. Experience in higher education helpful but not required. Working knowledge/experience with professional fundraising experience or data system experience.
