CommScope is hiring a Program Manager in Forest VA. We are also open to have this role work out of our Shakopee MN or Richardson TX locations
How You'll Help Us Connect The World
As a Program Manager for our Mobility Solutions - Distributed Capacity and Coverage Solutions team, this role leads hardware and software projects through the full Product Development Life Cycle using appropriated processes and tools, from business requirements through implementation. More specifically, you will be managing projects for our Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) product line. This is a global role involving working with teams in US, Europe, China and India. This involves:
- Collaborate with PLM and System Engineering teams for defining the release content
- Work with teams (Hardware, Software, Testing, Systems Engineering) for planning resources, tools and schedule
- Tracking all the project work and checkpoint - Requirement compliance, design document, test plans, multi- functional reviews
- Present weekly status update to management team
- Ensuring quality of the release
- Escalating risks and identifying mitigation
Required Qualifications for Consideration
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent field
- 7 years of strong experience in Design, testing and Project Management of Telecom products
- 5 years of proven experience in leading hardware projects /
- Proficiency in SAP and planning tools: Microsoft Project, Plan View, Polarion, Jira and others
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with an ability to work well in a team-based environment
- Clear understanding of entire Product Lifecycle Management
