Columbus Healthcare Center, a proud member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is currently seeking a Nursing Home Administrator in Training (AIT) for an internship at our facility, located in Columbus, OH.

The ideal candidate for the Administrator in Training position will have a desire to assume the key leadership roles of Executive Director. The position of Nursing Home Administrator in Training / AIT will assist the Executive Director in providing leadership to all staff to assure that care standards are met and the highest degree of quality resident care is provided at all times. The position must function as a team member, team leader, and supervisor to ensure that work is accomplished and quality care is delivered, supporting team members and leading the way in celebrating team successes.

CommuniCare will cover costs of CORE of knowledge courses.  A successful candidate will be willing to work at any of our Ohio Communities, which may require relocation.

As AIT responsibilities will include:

•  Spend time training in all the essential functions of a skilled nursing facility as required for completion of the AIT program
• • Work with the Preceptor to ensure compliance with all rules, laws, regulations, policies and procedures within the community
• • Ensure a high degree of resident and team satisfaction at the community
• • Additional duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates must have

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
• Must be enrolled in or have completed an AIT program
• Strong management and operation skills
• Strong math/budgetary skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
