Responsibilities
General Responsiblilities:
- Keep current of IRA rules, regulations and practices
- Handle/Monitor day-to-day IRA processes
- Customer Service
- Assist in tax reporting for all IRA accounts (5498, 1099-R)
- Assist with annual calculations and processing of RMDs for all IRA products
- Assist in keeping BPAS employees, including CSRs current on IRA products
- Respond that questions from Participants, Sponsors, Distributors, TPA's fellow employees
- Monitor IRA Trades Desk
- Ensure that TPA contribution files are processed timely
- Reconcile incoming funds from all sources
- Follow-up on remittance files submitted for which funds do not follow promptly
- Reviewing and processing Client/TPA Agreements
- Tranmit new client set up information to Conversions
- Review Plan set-up
- Set-up TPAs and other partnets in CensusPro
- Send Welcome Kits to new TPAs
- Review and process IRA Adoption Agreements and IRA Distrubution Requests
- Maintain client listing in database
- Monitor/Reconcile outstanding IRA funds
- Ensure timely processing of all IRA transactions (Contributions, withdrawls, conversions, transfers, ect.)
- Customer Service/Sales support. Serve as IRA subject matter expert for all customers, both internal and external
- Assist in Educational/informaton campaigns to accountholders, BPAS employees (especially CSRs), business partners, ect.
- Maintain proficent knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion
Qualifications
- Minimum of two year degree in accounting
- Appropriate mix of operational IRA, Daily Valuation, and/or Customer serivce experience

Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
