Seeking a part-time Registered Nurse who is interested in working in the mental health and substance use field. This is a transitional housing program serving men living with HIV/AIDS who have co-occurring mental health and substance use issues. You will assist clients to identify, access and engage in primary health services, as well as to follow up on treatment recommendations. Duties include: participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings to ensure the best quality of care for the residents, maintaining communication and collaboration with staff and other providers, as well as providing medication administrative support to residents. Providing assessments and crisis intervention to residents as needed.
Education/Licensing Requirements: Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, but prefer a Bachelor’s Degree. Current License to practice in Rhode Island. Current CPR certification also required. Must have reliable vehicle, auto insurance and valid driver’s license.
