The Instructor will guide student learning and success and serve as a mentor and model for students. This position requires strong instructional skills and engagement with a diverse student body using traditional, nontraditional, and innovative methods of instruction, effective class structure, and curriculum to achieve program and course outcomes. The Instructor must be able to teach as needed according to the scheduling needs of the department. There will be opportunities to teach this class again in the future.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
The Adjunct Instructor of Family Law for Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals is responsible for instructing assigned classes and delivering online content consistent with CCCS, CCD, CTE and department policies. Course content must adhere to the learning objectives of the course syllabus and with department policies. The Instructor must be available, either face-to-face or electronically, to provide students academic support as needed and appropriate. Ideally, the Instructor will be very creative and engaging, and will successfully reenact negotiation environments virtually. The Instructor has the ability to create case studies and fact patterns for practice negotiations, as well as to design assignments.
