Where you fit in
The Life Skills Clinician will work with seriously emotionally disturbed and troubled children, adolescence, and their families. You will provide crisis interventions, conduct assessments, implement treatment plans and provide comprehensive therapy services. Providing direct resident care, providing a safe and therapeutic environment through daily assessments, treatment plan implementation with the provision of individual, and group instruction of activities of daily living skills. And participate in aggressive behavior management appropriate to the population served.
Your exceptional skills
• Participates in development of curricula for individual and group services that meet the individual needs of the client/family served.
• Trains and assists clients and/or family in the development of living skills, individually or in groups.
• May assist with gathering data for comprehensive psychosocial assessments.
• Monitors individual client/family outcomes as related to skill acquisition and training.
Your exceptional qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required (in mental health related field preferred) or 8 years equivalent work experience. (Required)
• In lieu of the above education requirements, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Current Indiana Driver's License (Required)
• 1 years: Experience in a human services related field involving skills training and case management. (Preferred)
