Job Duties
The Director of Nursing supports the clinical and business direction of Maternity Services with an emphasis on the strategic planning and business development, clinical outcomes, quality management and excellence in customer service. The position provides the leadership and direction to develop, recommend and implement programs, policies, procedures and standards. The position reports to the VP of Nursing/CNE of the hospital.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required. Must be a Bachelors in nursing if starting without a Masters degree in nursing.
- Masters degree required within five years of hire.
- Three (3) or more years of progressive management / leadership experience required.
- Five (5) or more years of nursing experience required. Maternity experience preferred.
- Current Indiana Registered Nurse License required.
- Certification in relevant specialty or nursing administration required within three (3) years of hire.
