What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager I - CCC position at Community Healthcore?
Job scope: Key leadership position that oversees the Comprehensive, Continuum of Care for Females (CCC) Program. To design systems of care that will provide comprehensive case management services, community-based linkage, and will retain individuals served through pre-admission service coordination to reduce barriers to treatment, enhance motivation, stabilize life situations, and facilitate engagement in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. Supervises SUD counselor, linkage specialists, and recovery coach staff. Will become knowledgeable of community SUD treatment opportunities. Will develop relationships with referring organizations to obtain referrals to the program. Will develop relationships with treatment providers for linkage purposes and other treatment related activities. Will become familiar with the HHSC Statement of Work for the CCC program. Provides leadership and guidance to the CCC Team members. Requires higher level problem solving. Reports to the Director of Behavioral Health.
Education/licensure: Bachelor's degree preferred with two years' experience in the field of Substance Use Disorders or LCDC with 3 years' experience working in the field of SUD or QCC as identified by HHSC. Current valid driver's license in state of residence.
Experience/Knowledge: If recovering, must have at least two years continuous sobriety. Management/supervision experience and abilities to provide direction within the program. Knowledge of working with the diversity of populations served. Must be able to manage fiscal responsibilities to ensure budget compliance. Must be able to communicate with clarity for purpose of creating and maintaining professional relationships with unit staff and professionals in other service agencies. Duties are most often performed in general office setting with some travel required within the service area. Overnight travel infrequent.
Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job: Have no non-corrective deficiencies in the senses, particularly in sight, smell and hearing. Mobility and ability to bend and reach during an 8-10 hour shift. Able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs. Sensory acuity sufficient to evaluate, treat and monitor client needs, maintain accurate and current documentation of services provided. Fine motor skills sufficient to legibly and accurately complete reports and records. Endurance to work 10 hour days.
