Job Title: Staffing Coordinator (Weekends Only- Per Diem)
Job Summary: Performs clerical and receptionist duties in the Nursing Office. Maintains physical environment of the office, maintains current nursing contract labor files, maintains Master Nursing Staffing Schedule. Participates in Staffing meetings, assists with obtaining additional staff as requested. Reports to Chief Nursing Officer
Essential Job Duties:
- Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in scheduling staff and registries, transcribing schedule changes and maintaining a current Master schedule
- Provides excellent customer service to staff, physicians, and others who she/he comes in contact with during course of duties
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills in communicating staffing needs to staff and Nursing Management, ensures schedules are turned in on time and communicates any open shift needs timely.
- Develops, implements. Maintains process to ensure contract labor files are current and available as needed
- Serves as a role model for the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization and fulfills other job duties as requested within Scope of Practice
- Maintains current competencies as well as updated knowledge in specific area of practice

Education/Experience:
- High school graduate with minimum 1 year college preferred
- Minimum 1 year in acute care setting
Licensure/Certifications:
- Current BLS Health Care Provider Card
