Duties and Responsibilities:
As part of the PCA team you will assist the client with everyday tasks.
- Perform personal care, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and toileting
- Plan and prepare meals according to specific dietary requirements of the client
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment through light housekeeping. This includes changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and laundry.
- Providing companionship and stimulation for the consumer including reading, walks, and other activities
- Accompanying the consumer to appointments if needed.
- Assist with grocery shopping or other errands as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must have current and valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle with current and valid car insurance
- Must be able to pass various background checks
- Must be able to work every other weekend, holidays, and on-call rotation.
