Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client in their recruitment for a MDS Coordinator for their well established skilled nursing facility in Fremont, Ohio.

This role would suit a qualified registered nurse (RN/LPN), that is passionate about care and compliance and has previous or current experience of working as a MDS Coordinator within a skilled nursing facility. You will be required to be qualified as a registered nurse (RN/LPN) for the position and to focus on providing high-quality care in line with Ohio state and Medicare regulations, supporting/developing the well-established team you are leading.

The Candidate

The successful candidate must have a registered nursing qualification (RN/LPN), active in the state of Ohio. While having experience as an MDS Coordinator within a skilled nursing facility. Along with a good understanding of Ohio state regulations within senior care.

The candidate will ideally have experience leading a community as a MDS Coordinator and will be able to provide evidence that they have the capability to manage and support in the compliance of the facility.

Requirements

Registered nursing qualification (RN/LPN) within the state of Ohio

RAC-CT Qualification (Preferred - Not Required)

Experience as an MDS Coordinator

Knowledge of Memory Care (Preferred - Not required)

Experience with, Medicare, Medicaid guidelines

Knowledge on Ohio senior care state regulations

Location

The facility is based in Fremont, Ohio and is commutable from Toledo, Findlay, Mansfield, Bowling Green, Sandusky, Cleveland and surrounding area's.
