Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY-

The Assistant Director of Facilities shares the responsibility for the operation of all service lines at the facility with the Director to include; POM, Custodial and Grounds Maintenance department. The Assistant Director assists in responsibility for the oversight of the account, and helps to provide leadership for the strategic development of all departments. Works with all levels of the facility staff in all matters relating to the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility. Upon proven performance this position has the ability to grow into the Facilities Director role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and recommend department operating budget and ensure the department operates within budget
• Coordinate POM activities with other departments
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and supervise functions and activities of the department
• Establish and implement policies and procedures for departmental operations
• Maintains direct contact with varying levels of administration including the direct client and/or vendors, as business needs
• Ensures company capital assets are secured and maintained in first class working condition

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum four year college degree highly preferred
• 5 years management experience preferred
• Must have the ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
