Job Summary: Possesses extensive knowledge of: club layout, club amenities, food, wine, and airport terminal in order to answer any questions guests may have. Directs associates to perform cleaning duties in order to seat guests quickly. Warmly welcomes guests as they arrive and thanks guests when they depart. Assists guests with finding seating specific to guests’ needs when the club is near capacity. Exhibits exceptional communications skills and works well in a team environment. Remains flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes a safe and clean environment for guests
- Assists guests with seating specific to guests’ needs
- Assist guests in finding seating
- Explains club layout to guests (buffet, bar area, restrooms, amenities, etc)
- Ability to engage in conversation with guests
- Coordinates with Club Leadership on enacting the ‘at capacity’ procedure
- Knowledgeable of club layout and all amenities offered
- Knowledgeable of food, wine, and airport terminal in order to answer any questions guest may have
- Possesses an outgoing, friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and associates
- Exhibits excellent communication skills
- Ensures that all guests’ needs are met
- Communicates guest’s special occasions to Manager or Supervisor in order to create a memorable moment
- Follows up periodically to assist with any additional guest’s needs or requests
- Communicates directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
- Remains flexible and patient at all times when communicating with guests and staff.
- Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared
- Promptly addresses complaints or issues; relays relevant information or complaints directly to Manager or Supervisor
- Warmly welcomes guests as they arrive to the club
- Thanks guests as they leave the club
- Ensures each guest only occupies one seat and addresses the situation if needed
- Knowledge of de-escalation practices (conflict resolution)
- Asks guest to adhere to club rules
- Directs associates to clean tables and chairs as soon as guests depart so new guests can be seated promptly
- Attends to client’s needs
- Works with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions
- Assists associates in overseeing cleanliness of club
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
