Job Description

Compensation : $ hourly

The Screening Specialist is responsible for providing background screening for job candidates and administrative support to the Human Resources department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS JOB SPECIFIC

  • Conduct initial background screenings (FCSR, OIG, SAMS, education verification, drug screen, etc.)
  • Complete E-Verification process
  • Process and upload new hire forms and documentation into personnel record
  • Gather, track and report data for Human Resources related reports as needed. Ex : anniversary lists, Class E license, etc.
  • Create employee name badges
  • Assist with personnel filing, following all legal guidelines
  • Serve as Relias Learning consultant to staff
  • Assist with staff notifications (mailings, intra-agency mailings, electronic mailings)
  • Provide backup support for Human Resource staff when needed
  • Perform research for Human Resources topics as directed
  • Special projects as assigned
