Job Overview:
We are seeking skilled and experienced QMED Oilers. As a QMED Oiler, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and operation of the vessel. If you have a strong mechanical background, excellent hospitality skills, and a passion for customer service, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of all machinery on board the vessel
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating machinery, checking fluid levels, and cleaning equipment
- Monitor gauges, meters, and control panels to ensure proper functioning of machinery
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of cargo
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers on board
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience as a QMED Oiler or similar role preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with rig operations is a plus
- Ability to cook for crew members during extended trips is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
