Title: Oilfield Service Mechanic

Job Responsibilities:
1.0 Summary
This is an in-shop and in field service position for a dynamic person with strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes. Hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems knowledge is required as well as 5 to 10 years of troubleshooting experience. This position will perform service at customer operational locations in accordance with company processes and procedures. This position will also work in shop performing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical rework requiring troubleshooting for company projects and systems. A flexible outlook is needed as the schedule is fluid depending on project requirements. Approximately 60% of the schedule is in the shop and 40% is in the field. Heavy equipment rework experience is required. Project Management, Oil & Gas, Welding, and Safety Certification are preferred.
2.0 Essential Functions
Represent and support Consolidated Rig Works, LP (CRW) in the field through product installations, repair, or replacement according to CRW schedules, procedures, and standards
Complete installations, repairs, and inspections as directed
Follow and comply with processes and procedures while working alone or with others
Think critically to solve problems and troubleshoot issues with minimal supervision
Provide service and customer support on site and during field visits or dispatches
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
Produce timely and detailed service reports
Document processes
Cooperate with internal and external technical teams
Build positive relationships with internal and external customers
Ability to travel internationally, including the Middle East, South America, and North Africa
Must supply and maintain the proper tools needed for the job
Assist with testing of all equipment for production department
Assist Production with assembly of new equipment as required
Must maintain a valid driver’s license

5.0 Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
6.0 Work Environment
This job operates outside in a shop environment with occasional high noise levels. Temperatures fluctuate throughout the year. Exposure to chemical substances is limited in this environment. General fire and health safety measures are provided throughout the shop and office.
8.0 Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full-time
Non-Exempt from Overtime; must track all time worked and is paid in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
Monday – Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
Overtime as required
9.0 Travel
Travel is required for this position including travel outside of the US. Travel is estimated at 40%.

10.0 Required Education And Experience
5-10 years of test, repair, and technical equipment troubleshooting experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Stable work history
Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
Superb customer service, communication and self-management skills
Proven hydraulic troubleshooting experience and aptitude.
11.0 Preferred Education And Experience
Military E5 or higher in a technical discipline such as heavy equipment or aviation
Welding experience
Project Management experience
Familiarity with mobile equipment and tools
Technical degree or certification
Awareness of chemical, health and safety issues
Oilfield Safety certification
12.0 Work Authorization
This job requires work authorization documentation to be completed at the time of hire in alignment with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations (USCIS). I-9 documentation is followed. Must be able secure and maintain a valid U.S. passport
