Recreation Director
Responsibilities of a Recreation Director:
- Develop and implement engaging recreational programs and activities suitable for elderly residents.
- Coordinate and supervise recreational staff members to ensure activities are carried out effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate recreational programs into overall resident care plans.
- Maintain records and documentation related to recreational programs and resident participation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications for Recreation Director:
- High school diploma
- Certification as a Recreation Therapist (CTRS) or Certified Activities Director (ADC) strongly preferred.
- LTC/SNF experience preferred
