Job Summary :
The Part-time Onsite Counselor is responsible for providing behavioral health support for ComPsychs EAP program with employees of our Client, located in Roy, Utah.
This is accomplished through a combination of in-person individual counseling sessions, supervisor consultations, and other training and promotional activities.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed clinician with great interpersonal skills as well as be empathetic, organized, a strong communicator, and able to think critically.
Having a background in social work and / or counseling is a very important part of this position as it will be working closely with individuals from different backgrounds, and experiences, and have varying needs and abilities.
Primary Responsibilities :
Provides in person short-term EAP counseling sessions for employees; apply previous social work and counseling experience
Provides telephonic risk assessment and immediate support services for individuals in crisis
Provides management consultations, giving guidance and insight on resolving personnel issues and worksite issues. Also provides support for behavioral health issues / substance use issues
Respond to questions about program benefits, helping to connect members with resources
Attend and collaborate with medical leaders, Human Resources leaders and other stakeholders during Incident Response Team meetings
Coordinates with site contacts to participate in health fairs, enrollment and health promoting activities
Provides training and Lunch-and-Learns on behavioral health issues
Participates in behavioral health awareness campaigns
Provides strategy support on program service delivery satisfaction and issue resolution
Provides on-site critical incident debriefings, if indicated
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications :
- Master level licensed clinician; social work, counseling, psychology
- At least five years of experience as an independently licensed clinician; ideally as a social worker or counselor
- On-site EAP experience preferred
- Ability to work an onsite schedule : 24 hours / week onsite
Preferred Qualifications :
- USA National certification as CEAP
