CompTIA Spark is a 501(c3) subsidiary of CompTIA, dedicated to creating pathways and unlocking potential for youth in tech, under the newly aligned CompTIA Spark organization. The purpose of this role is to build, launch, and drive significant growth for a new mission objective in the non-profit space of middle school youth programming. In this role, the candidate will develop, execute and measure integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to middle school youth, their parents/guardians, educators, school systems, donors and other identified audiences.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. •Lead with vision: develop comprehensive and actionable marketing strategies, as well as operational plans, for CompTIA Spark Pilot, Launch and ongoing operation •Lead a “consumer first” mindset, developing a data informed position determining current and target customers, and implementing strategies and tactics that help us acquire and retain valuable customers •Create and implement innovative multi-channel acquisition strategies and campaigns leveraging traditional media channels (email, paid search), youth-oriented channels (Paid Social, Other Content Marketing channels), and educational channels (school outreach, partner marketing) •Collaborate closely with peers across both CompTIA Spark (particularly fundraising and program colleagues) and the broader CompTIA organization to ensure alignment on objectives and resources required to execute •Develop and deploy a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy that is designed to drive high levels of engagement and loyalty with youth audiences •Lead all marketing focused creative development efforts •Manage all external PR and internal communications efforts •Scale a comprehensive customer storytelling machine and drive all industry thought leadership efforts •Create compelling marketing that engages different customer segments: parents, teachers/administrators, middle school students, donors (content, imagery, digital copy, video, etc.) •Manage and/or co-coordinate all online and offline event efforts •Define KPIs and provide tracking, measurement, and analysis for marketing initiatives and campaigns, including identifying and implementing the best systems for doing so •Align closely with CompTIA marketing initiatives and tools, particularly Project Agora, as the middle school expansion program is developed and built •Operate with an agile, test/learn/iterate mindset at all times Supervisory Responsibilities: 2 Marketing Staff members Partnership and project management of cross-functional initiatives, teams and leaders Education and/or Experience: •8-10 years of related Marketing experience •BA/BS degree •Experience in educational marketing a plus •Experienced demand-generation marketer with a keen understanding of audience segmentation to drive success •Full marketing campaign lifecycle management experience, from concept development to ROI analysis •Strong working knowledge of, and experience with, partner/channel marketing planning and programs •Deep knowledge of product marketing and customer retention •Sharp creative eye, with experience in creative services project management, including oversight of emails, landing pages, print, flash and other marketing vehicles •Leadership of internal cross-functional teams, as well as direct reports, agencies and other support systems •Direct experience working with executive teams, partner teams and product management, both internally and externally
