Background familiarity with medical forms can help, but experience showing they’re open to learning and able to change when it comes to it.
Also, dedication, this position will lead to a permanent position and this job takes 3 months to learn so people that want to stay long term are wanted.
In the beginning the temp will be responsible for basic work of removing staples and making sure two identifiers are on each sheet to make prep easier for the other associates.
Then once we catch up on our work then they will move on to training for normal duties.
Those duties will be going through medical charts removing staples, organizing each form to patient and document types, placing spacers and getting it ready for the scanning.
This will need to be known HIPPA agreement since they will be dealing with medical records.
The training process will include learning how to identify the documents and who they belong to and as well they need to be open to change since the document types change from time to time for various reason on our client’s side.
A plus is a person that can handle seeing a variation each week.
There is no extensive lifting, standing or walking involved.
Just stacks of paper to take to your desk, more sitting at a desk most of the time.
15 to 20 lbs to carry a stack of documents to your desk.
Nothing over 50 lbs. No driving during shift is required.
There is free parking available across the street.
