Client provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Our Omnicare of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, location is one of the larger Omnicare locations in the country. This site operates 24x7 serving a large number of facilities in addition to providing seamless support to other Omnicare locations. Although Omnicare pharmacies are not open to the public, you’ll work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with the company’s mission, allowing our customers to focus on giving their patients the best care.
Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician in Supply Chain, you will work to ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients. You will support a variety of functions including (but not limited to) receiving, inventory management and packaging of medications. Our approach to training will enable you to grow your skillsets. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:
Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations that could include: Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Emergency Kit Preparation, Restocking Automation and Machine Packaging
Receiving product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock
Performing physical inventories of medication
Cycle count the drugs whose on hand quantities need to be verified
