Work Schedule:

o Position-

• 5:45pm - 5:45am,
• 7 days on, 4days off,
• 4 days on, 7 days off, etc.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the CDS (Console and Datacenter Services) team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a fast-paced, multi-platformed environment to ensure the seamless operation of technical systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Operating console systems and peripheral equipment to monitor and manage computing platforms.
• Maintaining tape libraries and managing data storage systems.
• Swiftly responding to alerts and notifications, identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Providing excellent customer service through effective communication (both verbal and written) to notify customers of problems and solutions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical and operational challenges.
• Working within a 24X7 shift-based schedule to ensure continuous support for the customer's technical business needs.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively in a rotating shift schedule that includes nights and weekends.
• Prior experience in a technical support or datacenter environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Effective analytical skills to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot computing platform issues.
• Basic knowledge of console systems, peripheral equipment, and computing platforms.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Demonstrated customer service skills, ensuring customers are informed about technical problems and their resolutions.
