As a DevOps Specialist, you’ll join a highly skilled team of infrastructure and database specialists and developers who design and support cloud solutions that serve over a million users. As a member of this team, you will:
- Design, develop, and test enhancements to cloud products
- Implement and support tooling and automation for deployment, monitoring and observability
- Optimize systems to improve reliability and performance
- Maintain security to protect client data
- Contribute to documented designs, standards, and procedures
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues as part of incident response and postmortem, including compensated on-call rotation
You are perfect for this role if you have…
- Innate curiosity about how things work
- Ability to come up with scalable solutions for complex problems
- Passion for automation and eliminating toil
- 5 years’ experience, with demonstrated knowledge of the following:
- Core services (networking, storage, monitoring, security)
- Backup and disaster recovery technologies
- Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred)
- Infrastructure as Code (Git, pipelines, Terraform, Helm charts)
- Containers (Docker) and orchestration systems (Kubernetes)
- Virtualization technology
- Operating systems (Linux, Windows)
Preferred
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
- Microsoft certification in Azure Associate (AZ-104 or AZ-204), DevOps (AZ-400), and/or Security (AZ-500)
