Position Responsibilities:
- Administer purchase order with vendor to reduce overall cost of facility inputs.
- Maintain on-time delivery.
- Work with vendor to ensure facility inputs are available when needed; this includes being involved in quality issues.
- Coordinate cycle counts to stay on established schedule.
- Enter and evaluate cycle counts, with a focus on identifying systemic deficiencies.
- Create, monitor and enhance Kanban systems that are applied to inventory and non-inventory items.
- Work with accounting to address any vendor invoicing issues.
- Reduce inventory levels.
- Improve operations performance.
- MRP evaluation with purchase order and work order generation.
- Internal coordination of inputs to insure adherence to schedules.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of materials experience.
- APICS Certification a plus.
- Sound knowledge of Syteline.
- Sound Knowledge of MRP evaluation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
