Position Summary: As Omni-Commerce Insights Director you will oversee the identification and delivery of strategic insights to guide the strategies and tactics of how Conagra Brands goes to market across Commerce channels. This discipline uses macro trends, granular consumer and customer data, evidence-based consumer and shopper insights, and retailer intelligence to influence the development of Commerce strategies across Sales, eCommerce, Marketing, and Brand Management teams. Additionally, Predictive Science is important to ensure our evidence-based principles are applied across all Commerce programs. You will report to a Senior Director of Predictive Demand Science. You Will: Lead a team of insights professionals, and provide ongoing guidance to develop team talent Apply industry-leading expertise in macro forces surrounding shopper, category, and retailer dynamics Maximize application and integration of Demand Science principles, philosophies and programs into Commerce strategies and workstreams. Enhance Demand Science standards and procedures for use across the enterprise Lead Omni-Commerce workstreams to support our strategic priorities. Develop business-building strategies informed by shopper, consumer, category, and retailer insights grounded in behavioral and analytic approaches Guide Demand Science thought leadership and showcase core capabilities to support important business processes (e.g. Top-to-Tops, Line-Reviews, Joint Business Planning) to help grow strategic relationships with priority customers Identify strategic Commerce opportunities to be addressed in annual operating and strategic plans. Make connections between evidence-based insights that benefit the category and Conagra's brands Continue to grow our eCommerce practice including enhancing data use and reporting, uncovering future strategic growth opportunities and expanding enterprise analyses and capabilities Identify new vendor partners and research methodologies to help develop best practices for Brick & Mortar Commerce and eCommerce insights Be a strategic partner to the Customer Leadership Organization, eCommerce, Precision Marketing, Brand Management leaders, and Demand Sciences teams You Bring: Bachelor's degree required 8 years of experience in insights and analytics with the ability to implement strategies uncovered through data exploration and consumer learning Experience influencing others by providing clear direction and gaining agreement Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) with both Brick and Mortar and eCommerce Experience triangulating compelling analytics and insights into concise story-telling presentations to support retail category and brand growth Experience explaining difficult concepts and opportunities in simple, applicable business terms, and at all levels of an organization, including executive leadership Excellent knowledge of market research fundamentals including primary research, secondary research (e.g. Kantar, Cleveland Research), and syndicated and panel (e.g. IRI, Nielsen, 84.51); experience with behavioral science-based methods Experience working with multiple third-party suppliers ensuring they are aligned to our main deliverables and driving to impactful outcomes Experience ensuring demand science resources are applied to the most important business issues and opportunities Experience building relationships at all levels throughout the organization Experience creating solutions in unstructured situations Our Modern Workplace: Conagra's culture of collaboration enhances our ability to meet critical business goals, deliver value to customers and consumers and provide you with the flexibility you need to achieve a better work-life balance.
